Wonderful World is an episode from the third season of Garfield and Friends.

Synopsis

Jon, Garfield and Odie visit a famous amusement park, only to find it run-down.

Plot

Jon arrives home with his car sputtering, and fears that he, Garfield and Odie won't be able to go on their big vacation because the repair shop can't fix it. Just then, a commercial for Wonderful World, a magical and fun theme park run by the master of fun and fantasy, Wilson Wonder, distracts Jon from his conversation and he decides that's where they'll go,

When they arrive however, they find conman Al G. Swindler in charge of the park. He gives Jon three tickets for 99 dollars and unfortunately, when they enter the park it is not as "wonderful" as they thought. It is in fact, run down and abandoned, with Swindler being the only staff at the park. Jon is still determined to have a good time and gives Garfield 10 dollars and tells him he can do anything he wants with it. The first thing on Garfield's mind is to take a taxi home, which Jon stops him from doing at the last second.

Swindler is seen running a ball toss which offers a new car as a prize to whoever knocks over the milk bottles. Jon, who could do with a new car, tries and fails to knock down the bottles. Still determined to win the new car, Jon wastes all his money trying to knock the bottles over. It's at first obvious that Swindler glued the bottles together as an underhand tactic, but we'll find out later. Garfield and Odie explore the abandoned Fun House, where one of the mirrors is actually a secret entrance which Odie and Garfeld into and discovers that the one and only Wilson Wonder has been living here for years. Wilson, who still believes that his staff is running the park, is proven wrong by Garfield and Odie as they lead Wilson outside and discover the atrocity of the formerly "Wonderful" World.

Swindler is busy counting his money when a furious Wilson confronts him, and chases after him along with Odie who drags Garfield on his leash. Swindler tries to escape Wilson by means of roller coaster and Garfield and Odie tag along, only to discover the ride was closed because it was unfinished, The cars crash into the ball toss stall and knocks the bottles over, meaning Jon, Odie and Garfield win the new car. As they leave, Wilson is determined to fix up Wonderful World and make it a place of miracles again. Garfield is not hungry which leads Jon to tell Wilson his miracles have already started, and they drive off in the new car.
