Walter J. Chapman (portrayed by Stephen Tobolowsky) is a news reporter and the younger twin brother of Happy Chapman. When Abby Shields reports that a deranged man (Happy Chapman) is being arrested at the train station for charges of train switching and kidnapping, Walter, to his shock, recognizes the man as his brother.
