Waking Jon! (Original French title: Vainquez votre somnolence!) is the eighth episode of Garfield Originals.
Synopsis[]
This shows scenarios revolve around Garfield (and Odie in two scenarios) trying to wake Jon up.
Plot[]
The first scenario has Garfield run onto Jon and wake him up with an alarm clock to feed him. Jon fells back to asleep, much to Garfield's annoyance. Garfield jumps on Jon and hits him with his food bowl to wake him up only for him to fall asleep again. Garfield then grabs Jon's bed and drags it offscreen, finally waking him up.
The second scenario has Jon asleep on the couch as Garfield walks in to sleep there. He tries many times to wake him up to no avail. He then grabs a boombox and plays rock music, waking Jon up and getting him stuck on the ceiling leaving Garfield to fall asleep on the couch with Pooky.
The third scenario has Odie walking in wanting to go take a walk with Jon only to find he's asleep. He tries barking and licking him to wake him up only for Jon to ignore him and go back to sleep. Odie then takes off his shoe and starts licking it, finally waking him up.
The fourth scenario has Jon asleep on the table which Odie and Garfield try to wake up to feed them. They first play both the cymbals and a horn only for Jon to go right back to sleep. Garfield then uses both cymbals on Jon's head which shatters him.
The fifth and final scenario has Garfield noticing the sleeping Jon and trying to scare him. He dresses up as a ghost to scare Jon awake only for Jon to turn the other way. Garfield tries scaring him that way a few more times before giving up and pouring coffee on (Jon). This wakes him up and causes him to be scared of Ghost Garfield
