Synopsis
Jon buys a cheap house in a mountain range, unaware of what's in store for him and his pets.
Plot
Jon Arbuckle and his pets are driving through a mountain range, where Arbuckle enjoys the view. Garfield talks with Odie about his alphabetical sandwich as Jon suddenly gets the idea of having a mountain retreat, where they could take vacations. Jon stops at a real estate office, which is run by a man named Samuel P. Escrow, who tells Arbuckle that they can take a drive through the mountains to find a house. Escrow shows Jon a house which is in the latter's price range, before telling Arbuckle that the house is haunted. Jon doesn't believe this, and signs the contract. Arbuckle offers Escrow a drive back to the office, which Escrow refuses.
