  • Due to your rampant confrontational behavior, and since you have shown little, if any, evidence of improving said behavior from the past year or two, you have been blocked permanently.

And you really shouldn't try accusing the admins for this. You only have your own behavior to blame.

    • Especially since we have at least 4 independent witnesses, who can testify that.

    • I'm an acquaintance of Acosta on another wiki. What did he do?

        Loading editor
    • We've discussed his numerous transgressions when it came to previous blocks (and block updates): http://garfield.wikia.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Jesusacosta3050

But to rattle off some particular major issues:

      • He persistently asked for fanart/screengrab requests from us (mainly TeeJay87), even when we declined said requests.
        • Furthermore, even when he got said requests, he has welched out of reimbursing the artist, apparently under the impression that he can get this stuff for free.  His ideas for payment have included buying cars and video games for us.  Or even just giving drawings of his own, which were basically triangles (or pyramids, as he called them).
      • He has acted aggressively towards others when he doesn't get his way (hence the "rampant confrontational behavior" I mentioned above), especially with threats (this he's done with other people, like on the Community Central Wiki). He's said things like "I'm going to...
        • ...sue you.
        • ...send my father to beat you up.
        • ...tell Chuck Norris/Donald Trump/whoever about you".
      • He has also claimed (multiple times) that his actions were done by either people he's made up ("Doc Boy Arbinkle") or by one of us impersonating him (namely Nermalfan316).
      • He has inappropriately relied on the wiki for multiple questions not related to the wiki, e.g. the nutritional value of flour, bank notes, aliens, Iraq not being mentioned in the Bible.
      • He got way into speculative ideas on here, e.g. that certain characters from The Garfield Show were the same since they are both voiced by the same person, or that one of the TGS specials (Into the Wild) would feature the title character of Curious George.
      • And despite his claims that he would improve, he has, like I said, "shown little, if any, evidence of improving said behavior from the past year or two."

You can find those things (among others) on the messages he posted on my message wall (as well as those of other admins).

    • Another thing he tended to do was constantly ask for personal information and get upset when it wasn’t provided. Even after he was blocked here, this behavior towards us continued on his own wiki. He’s also been blocked on multiple other wikis for similar offenses, mostly harassment. His current global block is for this, though.

All those testimonies given by Low Spark of Lyman and Nermalfan316 are true - he has constantly been harassing people on various Wikis, including this one. Not to mention he kept abusing administrator position here http://super-villains.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Jesusacosta3050

    • My lord... That is a dark side of him I had no idea about, especially that racist remark. Thanks for replying.

    • He's misinterpreted how this block was done.  He thinks I only did this because the other administrators forced me into blocking him so they wouldn't turn on me. Apparently the thought that I'd simply agree with everyone about him being too much for us to handle is (as detailed above), well, too much for him to handle.  It looks like another one of his conspiracy theories where he blames everyone but himself (and me, it seems) for actions taken against him (I should note that he considers me to be his only friend because of this alleged reason).

      Thanks for the info.

    • Okay, I've officially cut ties with him.  After putting up with much of his nonsense, like what I wrote above, and especially his stalker-like tendency to find out my personal information (as Luke mentioned).  All these years, I've noticed him not knowing things that he should know by now, including what would be considered common sense. I've also been willing to give him a lot of chances to improve himself.  But no more.  He's finally crossed the line for me. He clearly doesn't know what it takes to be a friend, at least not online.

I understand he'll probably think I'm some sort of villain, like the others that have stood up to him. He'll probably even bluff some threat towards me, as he's done before.  And that's too bad for him, if he's still hanging on to such delusions. I'd say he really needs help of some sort. I thought I could steer him towards that through our talks, but now I think he'd be more likely to do that without me.

So yeah, if that's how he's going to be, then it looks like he's not going to change, thus making this goodbye for good. A real shame, but that's not my fault.

Tim, I believe you made good choice. Personally, I'd had cut those ties with him much earlier, but at least we all have enough evidence, that certain individual doesn't deserve any trust.

Just because a person with apparently negative attitude considers you as "a villain", it doesn't mean that person counts as reliable source of information, especially when compared to his "proofs of heroism" composed of threats, bullying, rage attacks and nagging for requests. It's pretty much the same propaganda mechanism Joseph Goebbels and his henchmen used to depict Jews, Slavic people (including those from my homeland), British and Americans, just on lesser scale. Still, it doesn't make good excuse.

Like I said before: best we can do is leave that individual with his tantrums and treat him like an air. As long as he's (apparently) pleased with the way he functions in the cyberspace, we can't help him.

      Has he come back?

    • No, not yet, at least.  I was talking to him on Google Hangouts for a few days last week before reaching the last straw (I had previously chatted with him there in late February/early March, which led to a month long break since I was getting fed up with his constant desire to talk).

Unfortunately, he's followed us to Facebook, where I've recently gotten a page for this wiki started.  He's been trying to sabotage it, and...well, check it out if you want to see how well he's doing with that.

Why is he so obsessed? Why not just move on?

    • Both good questions.

It does seem like he's quite clingy, though.

Are you able to block him, so he can't find you?

    • We've already blocked him here.

Elsewhere, it depends on what the powers that be have to say, if anything.

I mean on Facebook, or any other social media where he has found you.

Or did you mean just keep him out of sight as far as I'm concerned?  I've already blocked him from Google Hangouts (hence my cutting ties with him).  I tried doing that on Facebook, though it didn't help in regards to his "review".
