Thoroughly Mixed-Up Mouse is an episode from the seventh season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
When Floyd's friend Irwin wants to be a cat, Garfield shows him how it is done. Irwin quickly finds out that being a cat is harder than it seems.
Plot[]
Floyd and Irwin walk through town, with Irwin praising cats. At a house, Floyd climbs a drainpipe for food but gets chased by a cat. Meanwhile, Garfield is chased by a dog, and their paths cross, causing a crash that lets them escape.
Back home, Garfield fetches a snack for Floyd while Irwin admires cats, revealing he wants to be one. Garfield, overhearing, suggests Irwin has the traits since he can eat and sleep. Floyd doubts the idea, but Garfield reassures him.
Irwin attempts cat life, struggling with cat food and mistakenly chasing Floyd like prey. This leads to an alley where other cats beat him up. Floyd rushes to get Garfield's help, while Irwin wonders about cats' hostility.
Garfield suggests being a dog, leading Irwin to accept. This backfires as Garfield chases him. The chase ends with Irwin admitting he is proud to be a mouse. Garfield is relieved, and Floyd thanks him, requesting more screen time, to which Garfield declines.
