"Ya know, Penelope, I've never dreamed my girlfriend would live in Italian restaurant."

"Would you like more garlic bread, Garfield ?"

"How about some pizza ?"

Penelope is cute when amazed.

"You do not understand men, is that it ?"

She's as much intelligent as pretty.

"Fun, until you have to clean after it."

"Garfield first says, that he's going to marry me..."

Penelope needs to learn, that her dreams about relationship with Garfield would be nothing more than utopia.

"I do."

"...And do you, Garfield... Garfield ?"

"Has anyone seen the groom ?"

"Garfield, aren't you going to answer him ?"

Proof that Penelope's domestic skills would take over and she'd make good home.

While Garfield would be like Homer Simpson.

"Garfield, what would you like to eat ?"

"Suggest something."

They have inherited cuteness after their mother, and appetite after their father.

Penelope started to hate the idea of marrying Garfield.

"Did I hear cat scream, momma ?"

"My little Pussycat has married such ball of goo?!"

"Forget the push-ups..."

"...I'm taking up long distance running, bye !"

Penelope crying again in the series.

"I gotta find Penelope and tell her I can't marry her !"

"You don't want to get married ?"

Double sigh of relief.

"But can we still be friends, even when not married ?"

"Oh, absolutely."

"Even if I..."

"...never want to get married ?"

"Definitely."

"And even if..."

"...I move out from the pizzeria and you won't get free food ?"

"Ummm...."

"Positively."

"Oh, Garfield, that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."

"Well, I meant it. But you wouldn't really move out from the pizzeria, would you ?"
