
The Temptations are an American R&B vocal group. Over the years, they have gone through various line-ups, covered several musical genres (most notably Motown and psychedelic soul), and performed numerous hit songs, including "My Girl", "The Way You Do the Things You Do", "Ain't Too Proud to Beg", "Get Ready", "I Wish It Would Rain", "Cloud Nine", "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)", "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)", "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone", and "Treat Her Like a Lady".
From 1989 to 1992, the line-up consisted of original members Otis Williams and Melvin Franklin, along with Richard Street, Ron Tyson, and Ali-Ollie Woodson. The group made soundtrack contributions to the films Happy New Year and Who's Harry Crumb?
