Stealing Home (FRFlag Chacun sa place) is the 41stUS/42ndEU episode from the second season of The Garfield Show.

Synopsis[]

Bruno lives in a trash can near Garfield's house. From there, he can spy on the very good life that Garfield leads, with Jon at his beck and call. Why should he have to live in a trashcan when he too could have the good life? Taking advantage of Jon going away on a trip, he decides to take over the house when Garfield unknowingly lets him in.

Plot[]

Garfield is waiting for his breakfast. He rings the bell, but nothing happens, so he rings a dinky bell. Jon arrives and apologizes for being 30 seconds late and gives him a slice of lasagna. When he offers some pepper, Garfield declines it. Outside the house and by the fence, Bruno cannot believe that Garfield has this house all by himself and he has to live in this trash can. Jon is checking everything on his list for his trip. He instructs Garfield and Odie not to let anyone in and leaves.

While the pets take a nap, Bruno rings the doorbell. Garfield says to go away however it is. He then thinks Vito is delivering pizza and opens the door for Bruno, who gets into the house and throws him out. Garfield thinks Odie will defeat Bruno, but Odie gets flung out of the doggy door. The two head to the back of house, only to find out that Bruno has nailed the door shut. The two use a ladder to get to the upstairs window; Bruno shoves the ladder down along with pets on it. Finally, the two use a trampoline to get to the upstairs window, resulting in Bruno hitting them with a frying pan.

While Bruno is eating a lot of food, Garfield and Odie decide to live in Bruno's trash can. They make a lot of adjustments to it while Bruno sees them doing it. Finally having enough with Garfield and Odie messing up his house, Bruno forces the two to go back into their house and is successful in doing it. When the two think all their troubles are over, they see the mess that Bruno has made. Jon comes home and says that his flight is canceled, just when he sees the mess. Believing that Garfield and Odie did this, he kicks the two out of his house.

At a dumpster outside of Vito's, the two pets are unsure when will Jon let them back in to his house. They hear something and see a door and heads down some stairs and see a cat lounge because of their ploy of what they did earlier was an actual thing. Garfield decides that they'll be lucky and Jon won't take them back and the two have fun along with the other cats.
