The Sponge Illustrated Salesman (voiced by Greg Burson) is a persistant salesman for the Sponge Illustrated magazine. He gets Jon to get a subscription to the magazine for one dollar an issue. Afterward, he often shows up to convince Jon to renew his subscription (even though it won't expire for a long time) at lower costs, even going so far as offering to pay him per renewal.
