"Spare Time" is an instrumental tune from the 1991 music album Am I Cool or What?, performed by David Benoit. Unlike the other songs on the album, which were produced by Andre Fischer, it was produced by Marcel East. In addition to the album, it was also released as the b-side of the "Shake Your Paw" single.

An alternate version of the song, with lyrics sung by Lou Rawls, was heard in Garfield Gets a Life.

Lyrics (Garfield Gets a Life version)[]

  • Get off of your easy chair now,
  • There ain’t no time for sittin’ there now,
  • No more days,
  • Markin’ time,
  • Long into the night,
  • Now is your chance,
  • Turn on the light,
  • Go on and get yourself a life,
  • Get yourself a life,
  • Nothin’ to it boy,
  • Until you do it,
  • Get yourself a life.
