Snow Wade and the 77 Dwarfs Part 1 is an episode from the sixth season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Orson includes the entire farm (including Roy's niece) in a retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Wade as Snow White and Roy as the prince.
Plot[]
It is story time and the chicks look around for a fun story to read. Orson reminds them that Chloe, who is visiting the farm, gets to pick the story he will read. She chooses Snow White, much to Booker and Sheldon's chagrin. Orson states that instead of telling the story, they will act it out. Wade comes along, inspiring Orson to make him Snow White, to which Wade acquiesces.
They imagine themselves in the castle. Once there, Roy begs Orson to let him play the handsome prince, and Orson agrees to let him. The evil queen (played by Lanolin) comes in to talk to her mirror (played by her brother Bo), ordering her to tell him who is the fairest. The mirror tells her Snow Wade is the fairest, prompting her to try to do away with Snow Wade. She then orders her loyal servants (who Orson and the chicks pass themselves off as) to go into the forest, do Snow Wade in, and bring back his gizzard in a bejeweled box. They take Wade out of the castle and into the woods.
Once out of sight, they take Wade to a cottage that is home to seventy-seven dwarfs, all with adjectives for names. This becomes a running gag throughout the story where one character expresses how they feel only for a dwarf to correct them saying they are named the adjective they just used.
Their plan is overseen by Lanolin who followed them into the forest, making sure they did their job. When they get back to the castle with a store-bought gizzard, the castle guard explains that she followed them and they have to hurry and get back to Wade before he eats the poison apple.
Lanolin gives Wade the poison apple and he bites into it, thus putting him in a deadly slumber. Soon, Roy comes in to save him, but when he catches sight of Wade's appearance, he refuses to kiss him and bails on the story. With no prince to kiss Snow Wade and no time left for this segment, they wonder how they will wake up Wade and stop Lanolin. To be continued...
