Overview

Snow Wade and the 77 Dwarfs Part 1 is the second segment from the ninety-fourth episode of the sixth season of Garfield and Friends.

Synopsis[]

Orson and the entire farm (including Roy's niece) imagine themselves in a retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Wade as Snow White and Roy as the prince.

Plot[]

Orson announces to Booker, Sheldon, and Roy's niece, Chloe, that it is storytime. Orson reminds Booker and Sheldon that as Chloe is a guest, she should be allowed to pick the story. She chooses Snow White, much to Booker and Sheldon's chagrin. Orson suggests that they act out the story, and although initially unsure of who will play Snow White, Orson selects Wade, to which the latter acquiesces. They all imagine themselves into a castle, and Wade into his outfit.

Taking Orson aside, Roy begs him to let him play the handsome prince, and Orson concedes. Meanwhile, in her throne room, the evil queen, played by Lanolin, demands her mirror, played by Bo, to tell her who is the "most fabulous babe" in the kingdom. The mirror reveals it is Snow Wade, prompting Lanolin to declare that Snow Wade must be gotten rid of. Noticing Orson and the chicks, Lanolin orders them to take Snow Wade into the forest, "do away" with her, and bring back her gizzard in a bejeweled box.

Orson and the chicks grab Wade and run out to a cabin in the forest, where Orson tells Wade that here he'll be safe with the cabin's tenants, the seven dwarfs. As Orson and the chicks make their way back to the castle, they are unaware that Lanolin had followed them to make sure her order was carried out. Meanwhile, Wade, having discovered the dwarfs, finds out that there are actually seventy-seven dwarfs, each one with an adjective or gerund for a name.

Back at the castle with a store-bought gizzard, Orson and the chicks find out Lanolin's whereabouts from a castle guard, prompting them to hurry back to Wade. At the cabin door, Wade greets Lanolin, who gives him a poison apple. Wade, on the basis of it being free, bites into it and collapses from its effects. Finding Wade unconscious, Orson calls out for Roy to enter. Roy arrives and although initially enthusiastic, he catches sight of Wade and refuses to kiss him, thereby leaving the story in limbo. With no prince to kiss Snow Wade and no time left for the segment, Orson declares that they'll just have to leave the conclusion to a second part.
