Roy Gets Sacked is an episode of Garfield and Friends from season four.
Synopsis
Roy leaves the farm after thinking the others want to fire him.
Plot
Orson, Lanolin, Bo, Wade and Booker are having a meeting discussing Roy's recent pranks and are quite sick of them. Outside, Roy has another prank to play on Orson, but eavesdrops on the others to see what's going on. He overhears them discussing about firing him and sadly walks away, thinking they don't want him around anymore. When Roy leaves, Orson decides not to fire him because he's part of their family.
Roy goes to visit his agent, Bernie and begs him to be given another job, but there are no shows that have jobs available. Roy goes to the unemployment office and realizes there is a show hiring, but doesn't bother to see what it is and runs off to the studio. Roy then realizes that the show that's hiring for people like him is none other than "The Buddy Bears Show" and the bears have a sister named Betty Buddy Bear. Roy refuses to join because they'll drop safes on him like last time, but the bears promise not to.
On the show, the bears show the viewers what happens when they don't do things they're supposed to do such as drinking milk, washing behind your ears and brushing your teeth, only to result in him getting many heavy things dropped on him. In the last scene, Roy gets a safe dropped on him and runs out of the place. Roy goes back to the farm and begs Orson to rehire him, even though Orson never fired him in the first place.
