In the kitchen, Floyd shows his friend Tyrone around the house. At first Tyrone is delighted since he doesn't have to worry about cats until he sees Garfield. To his shock though Garfield only came in to grab a snack and didn't care much about the two mice. Tyrone is confused at this while Floyd tells him that Garfield doesn't eat mice.

In the living room, Garfield wonders if there's anything on TV to which he changes the channel to Binky the Clown and decides not to watch it. He then takes a nap to which Tyrone decides to wake him up and get him to chase him. The cat is too lazy to do it and realizes that Floyd was telling the truth when he confronts him. Just as he begins to enjoy it, Tyrone thinks it's not right and tries again to make Garfield chase him. At that moment, Jon comes by and sees Floyd in the kitchen making him stammer and decides to get Garfield to catch it.

Later Tyrone tries again to make Garfield chase him but it fails again and he gives up. Just then Jon arrives and goes into a song and dance that he should catch the mouse to which Garfield tells him to leave him alone. Eventually Jon tells him he won't get sausage lasagna if Garfield doesn't get the mice prompting Garfield to catch them.

By then Tyrone has given up on getting Garfield to chase him and tries to enjoy it. It's short lived when Tyrone realizes Garfield has a change of attitude. The due chases thorough the kitchen and eventually Garfield gets tired out from all the chasing and traps. When he sees Garfield has quit, Tyrone calls him a disgrace of being a cat and decides to eat him out of house and home much to Floyd's displeasure. Meanwhile Jon tries to get Garfield to chase the mice again when the cat directs him to an ad for Binky's Circus and calls asking if they sell animals.

It freaks out the mice so much that they leave the house in a frenzy. Jon is glad that Garfield got rid of the mice but now they have deal with the lion. Hiding on top of the fridge Garfield tells Jon that since he got rid of the mice, Jon should get rid of the lion.

Rodent Rampage is an episode from the third season of Garfield and Friends.

Synopsis

Floyd invites his friend Tyrone for a visit. Tyrone is shocked that Garfield is unwilling to chase mice.

Plot

In the kitchen, Floyd shows his friend Tyrone around the house. At first Tyrone is delighted since he doesn't have to worry about cats until he sees Garfield.
