Robert "Bob" Taylor (1944 – December 11, 2014) was an American animator, director, writer, and producer, perhaps best known for his work in The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat and Heidi's Song.

Early in his career, Taylor worked with Ralph Bakshi on several Terrytoons shorts and The Mighty Heroes. He reunited with Bakshi on 1977's Wizards.

Taylor worked for Disney on Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, TailSpin, Goof Troop, Bonkers, DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. He also worked for companies such as Depatie-Freleng and Hanna-Barbera.
