Pookie Time (French: Pookie) is the twenty-fourth episode of Garfield Originals.
Synopsis[]
Five scenarios involving Garfield's teddy bear Pooky.
Plot[]
The first scenario has Odie see Pooky, but Garfield grabs his teddy and glares at Odie. Odie distracts Garfield with a pizza slice so he can have Pooky all to himself. Garfield realizes that he's being distracted and chases after Odie, but not before wolfing down the pizza slice.
The second scenario has Garfield walk away and leave Pooky unattended. In Garfield's absence, Jon accidentally sucks Pooky up in his vacuum cleaner and Odie swallows a bone after stopping in the exact spot Garfield left Pooky. Garfield witnesses Odie burping and assumes that Odie has eaten Pooky, so he reaches inside to try and retrieve his teddy bear. Garfield gets crushed by a fridge he pulls out of Odie and Jon comes back with Pooky. Odie hugs Pooky affectionately.
In the third scenario, Garfield leaves Pooky in his chair to get something to eat. Odie comes by and licks Pooky hard enough that the teddy bear gets stuck to the ceiling with Odie's slobber. Panicked, Odie jumps from the chair in an attempt to get Pooky down. Garfield returns with a drumstick to see that Odie has left a hole shaped like him in the ceiling. The segment ends with Odie and Pooky floating in space.
The fourth scenario starts with Odie approaching Pooky and giving him a big, slobbery lick. Garfield is disgusted by his teddy bear being covered in Odie's slobber. Jon sees this and decides to put Pooky in the dryer. Once Pooky has dried, he's become enlarged and puffed up. Jon fears how Garfield will react, so he runs as soon as he gives the bear back to Garfield. Garfield simply shrugs and hugs Pooky anyway.
The final scenario has Odie decide to lick Pooky while Garfield is sleeping. Odie panics after seeing that he's accidentally knocked Pooky out of the window with his tongue and rushes out to see that Pooky is on top of Herman Post's car. After getting Pooky back from following the car, Odie returns Pooky to Garfield as Garfield wakes up. Garfield snatches Pooky back and growls at Odie, resulting in Odie winding up on top of Jon's car as he drives away.
