Natalie Cole

Natalie Maria Cole (February 6, 1950 – December 31, 2015) was an American singer, songwriter and actress.

Some of Cole's hit songs include "This Will Be", "Inseparable", "Sophisticated Lady", "I've Got Love on My Mind", "Our Love", "Miss You Like Crazy", "Livin' for Love", and a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac". As the daughter of singer Nat King Cole, she recorded Unforgettable...with Love, an album of covers of her father's songs.

As an actress, Cole made guest appearances in shows such as Touched by an Angel, Grey's Anatomy, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She provided the singing voice of Sawyer in Cats Don't Dance. She also appeared as herself in a Comic Relief special and documentaries of Nat King Cole, as well as in episodes of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Real Housewives of New York City, and RuPaul's Drag Race.

Cole has been a recipient of many awards, including the Grammy Awards and the NAACP Image Awards.
