Mrs. Baker (played by Eve Brent) is an elderly woman who appears in Garfield: The Movie and an apparent fan of Happy Chapman.
She finds Odie one night after he got lost chasing cars and brings him in for food and shelter. The next morning, Mrs. Baker places posters around the neighborhood about Odie, one of which is seen by Happy and Wendell who was looking for a dog act on Good Day New York. Happy and Wendell eventually go to her house and Chapman tricks her into believing Odie is his dog where she gets his autograph on his picture in return.
When Odie's real owner Jon Arbuckle along with Liz arrives at her house after seeing one of her posters, she does not believe him about being Odie's true owner but tells them that Happy Chapman took him instead. This revelation makes Jon (who was unaware that Happy Chapman took Odie prior) and Liz realize that Chapman took Odie and likely Garfield for his own gain.
Mrs. Baker is not seen again, but it is possible that she realized that Happy Chapman duped her when news of his arrest was shown on TV and stopped admiring him soon after.
