The Molecular Scrambler (often shortened to the MoScram) ray gun is a weapon created by Professor Wally powered by the Klopman Crystal. The weapon can scramble inanimate objects or organisms into new creatures that obey whoever is the welder of the weapon at the time. There is also a Super Scramble mode that allows the weapon to combine inanimate objects or organisms into one being. To reverse the effects, one has to shoot the affected again with the weapon. There are some exceptions, as when Garfield shot Vetvix with the weapons combining her with the "Smile Section", she did not appear to be under Garfield's control. The sorceress Vetvix once stole the weapon to conquer the universe with an army of zombies. After being defeated by Garfield, Garfield returned the weapon to Professor Wally, who intends to destroy it afterwards.

- The powers of the Molecular Scrambler are similar to Vetvix's animal-splicing machine in the novel series. Both weapons create new creatures by mixing up their body parts that are under the control of the weapon user.
