The oblivious guy at the counter calls out really low numbers to Garfield’s dismay. He finally reaches 3478 and gives Garfield the flavor options and offers a complimentary cone of yogurt but Garfield is not satisfied with his choices and throws the cone right in the guy’s face. Garfield leaves the store and Odie comes running to him panicking. Garfield finally listens to him and Odie tell him that he cannot get the water main shut off. The mini-mall is being over-irrigated and is in danger. They run to the water main and try to shut it off but they do not arrive in time and the mini-mall is flooded so it starts to float away. Garfield and Odie chase after it in a canoe but it goes out into the ocean anyway and they give up. Garfield concludes the episode and says he can always just grow another mini-mall. A deserted caveman on an isolated island somewhere in the ocean is watching TV and Garfield’s broadcast. He says that’s he’s never seen a mini-mall before the one the escaped from Garfield floats right to him and crash lands on the island. He runs into the frozen yogurt store desperately seeking food but takes a number which is 2912. The oblivious counter guy is back and is calling out really low numbers again. So the caveman gets upset with him as the shot fades out. |

Mini-Mall Matters is the last segment of the twenty-eighth episode of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis
Garfield gives a lesson on mini-malls.
Plot
Garfield presents an educational show on mini-malls. He starts by showing how mini-malls are grown- by using seeds and watering them. Garfield details all of the stores in a typical mini-mall, including parking spaces and employees. Odie suddenly appears, upset about something.
