Mind the Vet! (Original French title: Attention véto) is the fifteenth episode of Garfield Originals.
Synopsis[]
Five scenarios involving Garfield while Dr. Liz Wilson is checking up on him.
Plot[]
The first scenario has Liz measuring Garfield's weight by having him step on a scale. The scale flashes red to indicate that Garfield is overweight. Garfield removes one of his legs, only to still be told he is too fat. Garfield removes his other leg, then his tail, with the scale still indicating he is too heavy. The scale finally flashes green to indicate Garfield is the correct weight after taking off his head, which causes Liz to faint.
In the second scenario, a sickly Garfield does not want to have the thermometer used on him, so he acts healthy whenever Liz looks at him and messes with Jon by reverting to his unwell state when Liz is not looking. Jon eventually wears himself out trying to show to Liz that Garfield is indeed sick and winds up having the thermometer put in his mouth.
The third scenario has Liz use a tongue depressor on Garfield. She then uses the tongue depressor on Odie and pulls out his long tongue before pulling a rabbit out of Odie's throat, resulting in Jon and Garfield applauding while Liz faints.
In the fourth scenario, Liz attempts to use a blood pressure pump on Garfield, which causes Garfield's head, belly and tail to comically swell. Jon laughs at Garfield's tail inflating, which causes Garfield to use the blood pressure pump on Jon until Jon inflates like a balloon and then hurls around the room.
In the fifth scenario, Liz attempts to give Odie his shot; she accidentally injects Jon. Back at home, Garfield wakes up from his nap to see both Jon and Odie panting at him while on all fours.
