Be careful about using words like "but" and "however"; I'm not quite sure how they are to be approached, hence why I tend to do away with them.
Avoid padding out sentences with unneccesary words or phrases. For example: "Garfield eats the lasagna" is sufficient, it does not need to be prefaced with something like "As one would expect" or "Obviously". There may be exceptions to this, though I think they'd depend on the context. You also don't need to say "blatant" or "obvious" for acknowledging parodies/references in the trivia sections.
It would be preferred if you can compile as many characters as possible in the character list. This particularly goes for minor characters, though you can use groups in some cases, such as "neighbors".
