
Lloyd Lincoln Vaughan I (January 2, 1909 - May 19, 1988)[1] was an American animator.
Vaughan was one of the animators for Chuck Jones on many classic Warner Bros. shorts released in the 1940s and 1950s. He continued working with Jones as part of MGM Animation/Visual Arts (How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, The Pogo Special Birthday Special and The Phantom Tollbooth) and Chuck Jones Enterprises (later Looney Tunes features, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, The White Seal and two Raggedy Ann and Andy specials).
Vaughan worked on several Hanna-Barbera shows, including Birdman, Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, Help!...It's the Hair Bear Bunch!, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels and Scooby's Laff-A-Lympics. He also animated on several Depatie-Freleng features. His other credentials include Heavy Traffic, Pink at First Sight and Is This Goodbye, Charlie Brown?
Vaughan's final original animations were in Garfield television specials.
