Synopsis

Cat alert! Cat alert! Bruno has grabbed a handful of Squeak's buddies!! Phew! Garfield comes to the rescue and splash! He aims the garden hose square in Bruno's face. Well done Garfield Cat!

• Parts of the plot were reused from "Peace & Quiet", in which Garfield tries to sleep after watching TV all night and keeps getting distracted by someone (Binky the Clown and Mary Margaret, respectively).
• The movies Garfield watches are part of the Kung Fu Creatures on the Rampage series, which first appeared in "Video Airlines".
  • Jon alludes to this by noting that the movies are "old movies".

Cultural references

• Mary Margaret asks "Did you ever meet Abraham Lincoln? Did you know he was born in a log cabin that he helped his father build?" In reality, the log cabin that Lincoln helped to build was a new one, rather than the one that he was born in.

Goofs

• When Squeak says "Hey!" to Garfield, his lips do not move.
