Leslie gorin

Leslie Susan Gorin (born Leslie Susan Margolin, 1952 - June 10, 2018) was an animator and storyboard artist.

Gorin was originally a silversmith and teacher before studying at CalArts to become an animator. Afterwards, she was employed by Disney, where she worked on films such as Pete's Dragon and DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. She worked for Bill Meléndez Productions and Film Roman from 1984 until 1992, working on specials for Peanuts and Cathy, as well as The Romance of Betty Boop, Frosty Returns and Tom and Jerry: The Movie. Among her other credentials are Raggedy Ann and Andy: The Musical Adventure, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Tiny Toon Adventures.

Gorin retired in 1992 to raise her two daughters. In the 2000s, she became a children's author, publishing Bertie Wings It and Elly and the Smelly Sneaker.
