Jonah (voiced by Jason Marsden) is a black cat who once brought bad luck to Garfield.
Personality[]
Jonah was once portrayed as being depressed due to being dumped by his girlfriend Mindy. According to Mindy, he was always gloomy, resulting in her breaking up with him due to feeling depressed around him. He has since caused bad luck to people and animals whose paths he crosses. Garfield inadvertently breaks this curse by slipping on a banana peel, which makes Jonah laugh, improving both his outlook on life and Mindy's relationship with him.
