Joe Roman (1935-2017) worked as an animator from the 1960s to the 2000s. His credentials include numerous Peanuts specials, as well as productions by Hanna-Barbera, Chuck Jones, and Filmation. He also worked on The Lord of the Rings, Heathcliff, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, The Pagemaster, and Cats Don't Dance.
