Howard "Howie" Morris (September 4, 1919 - May 21, 2005) was a Jewish American comic actor and director. He worked in many Hanna-Barbera series and had a reccurring role as Ernest T. Bass in The Andy Griffith Show.
Morris provided the voices of Wade Duck, Wart, Filbert, and others in the U.S. Acres segments of Garfield and Friends; he was also an occasional guest star in the Garfield segments as well.
