Guido was involved in a week of comic strips from 1982. At first it was just a tree stump that gnarled at Garfield. Then Garfield found a mouse that was in the stump and assumed he was making the noise. Eventually he realized it was a bigger animal named Guido in the stump. A creature similar to Guido also made an appearance when his hand took cheese Garfield had put outside a mouse hole, Garfield quickly walked away. Guido is never fully shown.
