Garfield Kart is a racing video game released on PC in 2013, and 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS and Steam. It was formerly available on Android and iOS.
A remake, Garfield Kart - Furious Racing, was released in 2019.

- On May 3, 2020, seven 3DS prototype versions of the game were anonymously leaked to 4chan.[1]
- One prototype name, "Garfield Kart GDC demo", suggests that the game could have been planned for a showcase at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
- Garfield Kart, and all its related properties are owned by Sonder Studios LLC, and they are legally allowed to make GK3: Deep Racing Garfield

Reception[]
Garfield Kart was met with mostly negative reception from critics due to what they called unimaginative gameplay, low production value, and poorly designed mechanics.[2]
In its review, Nintendo Life gave Garfield Kart a score of 3/10 while describing it as "a bland, horribly un-balanced Kart game".[3] Hardcore Gamer gave Garfield Kart a rating of 1.5, criticizing the game as "absolutely dreadful".
The game was met with positive reception in user reviews on Steam and other platforms. Such reviews tended to be satirical, likely due to the game turning into an internet meme.[4]
