- The book contains two flip book animations:
- The lower right corner of the right side pages contain Garfield chasing a mouse, with Garfield getting his face stuck in the mouse hole. After getting out of the hole, the mouse peeks out to observe Garfield with his face distorted.
- The lower left corner of the left side pages contain Odie chasing after a ball. After the ball hits a wall, Odie bounces it back with different parts of his body before catching it with his paw.
