Garfield's Defense 2: The Food Invaders Strike Back is a 2-D mobile game made by Web Prancer available for iOS and Android and a sequel to Garfield's Defense. Like its predecessor, the game has 60 levels; 20 of them take place in three different areas around the world (the first 20 take place in New York City, the second is in Santa's Workshop and the final levels take place in Paris, France). Additionally the player can select from Garfield, Odie, and Nermal as their main hero to fight against the invaders
Heroes[]
Garfield[]
The first hero introduced. His stats are balanced and easy to use. His range and melee attacks vary depending on the location. In New York he is dressed as the Statue of Liberty, and uses torches for range attacks and the tablet for melee attacks. In Christmas Town, he is dressed as Santa Claus and uses candy canes for range attacks and a bell for melee attacks. In Paris he is dressed as an artist and uses palettes as range attacks and a paintbrush as melee attacks.
Odie[]
Odie has low range but a high amount of health and moderate attack power. He throws bones for range attacks and uses his tongue for melee attacks. In New York, he is dressed as a regular New Yorker, in Christmas Town he is dressed as Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer and in Paris he wears a red stripped white hat with a blue jacket and a red and white striped scarf.
Nermal[]
Nermal has weak attack power but great range. He throws yarn balls for range attacks and swings his personal yarn ball for melee attacks. In New York he is dressed as a street artist, in Christmas town he wears a Santa hat and scarf and in Paris he wears an artistic hat and a blue and orange striped scarf.
Friends[]
All the friends with the exception of Odie and Nermal return with their signature moves. What they attack with and what they wear depends on the location.
Sheldon[]
Attacks by head bashing invaders. Wears a baseball cap in New York, a winter hat in Christmas Town and an artisan hat in Paris
Roy[]
Attacks by hitting enemies with roller skates. Wears an extreme skater outfit in New York, mittens and a scarf in Christmas Town and artisan gloves in Paris.
Wade[]
Has high attack but low health. He attacks with either a hockey stick (New York), a candy cane (Christmas Town), or a paintbrush (Paris).
Booker[]
Attacks from a distance by throwing objects at enemies; baseballs (New York), snowballs (Christmas Town), Erasers (Paris).
Arlene[]
Does not attack, but heals friends and heroes to keep them in battle longer. Wears a cheerleader outfit in New York, a Christmas outfit in Christmas Town and a Parisian model outfit in Paris.
Orson[]
Has high attack and health. He attacks with either a baseball bat (New York), Christmas tree (Christmas Town), or a cane (Paris).
Dino Odie[]
Attacks with his tongue and is the strongest friend to use. Wears a football outfit in New York, an assortment of Christmas lights in Christmas Town, and sunglasses, scarf and stockings in Paris
Aliens[]
There is a great variety of aliens, but most function pretty similarly. (Note: these are not their official names). There are different aliens depending on the location

Does not attack heroes or friends, instead rushes to the food base at high speed and causes damage when it self-destructs.

This invader does not attack directly, although it teleports invaders closer to the player's base, making it a challenge at times.

Watermelon Seeds[]
Garfield eats a watermelon and shoots a barrage of seeds at the invaders
Pie[]
Garfield throws a cream pie at the invaders dealing huge damage
Beehive[]
Garfield throws a rock at a beehive above causing the bees to swarm the invaders dealing a ton of damage
Peruvian Death Pepper[]
The skill that causes the highest damage, Garfield eats the pepper and spews fiery hot breath at the invaders.
Odie[]
Super Bark[]
Odie releases a massive bark that damages enemies.
Dig[]
Odie digs into the ground and sends chunks of dirt at enemies.
Dingle Ball[]
A dingle ball is thrown from offscreen and Odie dashes after it, damaging any enemy in his path.
Bone Tornado[]

Wool Yarn Kick[]
Nermal swirls a ball of yarn filled with tiny balls of yarn around doing damage to enemies next to him.
Big Wool Yarn Hammer[]
Nermal sends a giant ball of yarn at the invaders dealing damage
The Cutest Power[]
Nermal turns on his cute looks allowing hearts to swarm the invaders and deal damage.
Rain of Yarn[]
Nermal calls for balls of yarn which rain down on the invaders.
