Gabriel is a cat who formerly emulated Garfield, much to the dismay of the latter. He lives with an owner who is similar to Jon Arbuckle and an Odie-like dog named Ollie.
Physical appearance[]
Before the change[]
Gabriel has a similar body shape and facial features to Garfield. He only differs with tan-and-yellow fur color and cheek hair.
After the change[]
The workout made Gabriel much more fit than previously. He now sports a musculature.
Personality[]
Gabriel initially behaved much like Garfield, including eating lasagna, kicking Ollie off the table, disturbing the mailman, and even using similar catchphrases.
After a bit of conflict, he admits that he has looked up to Garfield and tried to be like him, but ultimately went too far and lost his own identity. His behavior changes after Garfield puts him through a workout of doing non-Garfield things, resulting in him becoming a muscular cat with his own personality.

- His cheek hair is similar to those of Penelope Pussycat.
- A similar looking cat named Buddy appears in "Stairway to Stardom". He only differs from Gabriel in fur color.
