Funny, LLC is an American company that reportedly supports and manages the production of the Garfield comic strip. The company was founded by Jim Davis to transfer rights to the comic strip from Paws Incorporated following its sale to Viacom. While the sale itself was not announced until August 6, 2019[1], Funny, LLC was incorporated on February 11, 2019 in Indiana[2]. Throughout the company's existence, Jim Davis, his wife Jill Davis and Robert Beasley have been listed in various official filings as being affiliated with the company. The address listed for the company was initially Paws Inc.'s former headquarters in Albany, Indiana[citation needed], but after the company left there the address was changed to Jim Davis' home, also in Albany[3].
