Egg Over Easy Part 1 is an episode from the seventh season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Orson and Bo tell the story of when Wade tried to be an egg again.
Plot[]
Orson and Bo, joined by the viewers, recount the story of when Wade became an egg again. Wade had many ridiculous fears, from finding unidentifiable things in soup to people named Walter, and even the fear of having nothing to be afraid of at all. On his birthday, the gang surprised him, but he was so shocked that he ran away. They tried to get him back but gave up when he had run too far.
Meanwhile, Sheldon was being chased by the Weasel, who was craving an egg. Sheldon saved himself by turning on his heat lamp, making his shell too hot for the Weasel to hold. Wade asked Sheldon why he insisted on staying inside his egg. Sheldon explained that when he was about to be born, a newspaper lined his nest, detailing the horrifying things in the world, making him feel safest in his egg. This gave Wade an idea.
Wade created a papier mache egg to stay inside, hoping to never worry about the outside world again. Without eye holes, he struggled to see where he was going. The Weasel then spotted him, seeing an easy target.
Orson finds out their segment is over, forcing them to leave the story on a cliffhanger. He tells the viewers to come back for the next show to find out what happens next while holding up a "To Be Continued..." sign. He and Bo then argue over who should finish the story.
