Dr. GoodyGood (voiced by Stan Freberg) is a puppet host of an old television series. When Jon Arbuckle brought in his old black and white TV (after the color TV breaks) for Garfield to watch, the show aired on the set. Upon witnessing Garfield tormenting Nermal, Dr. GoodyGood (who is able to see and hear outside the TV set), takes Garfield's colors away to give him a lesson in being nicer to Nermal. Upon doing three selfless deeds, Garfield gets all his colors back from Dr. GoodyGood.

A human-shaped puppet carved to represent a balding mature man dressed in an old-fashioned tuxedo with a bowtie. A pair of glasses is resting on Dr. GoodyGood's nose.
It is impossible to determine actual colors of the puppet, for he appears in black-and-white palette only.
Personality[]
Dr. GoodyGood is focused on teaching his audience proper morals and conduct. His methods may be a bit rough, nonetheless effective as the encounter with Garfield has proved.
