Did You Say Cake? (Original French title: Gâ-Gâteau) is the thirteenth episode of Garfield Originals.
Synopsis[]
Five scenarios involving cake.
Plot[]
In the first scenario, Garfield prepares a birthday cake for Pooky and leaves to get a noisemaker. Odie has eaten the cake in Garfield's absence and shrugs when Garfield confronts him on the missing cake, only to give himself away when his panting reveals the cake's candle. Garfield reaches into Odie to get the cake out and attempts to blow out the candle, becoming shocked when he sees that a bone has taken the candle's place.
The second scenario has Garfield wake up to see Jon carrying a cake. He begins to chase after Jon to get the cake. Jon chases Garfield in an attempt to get the cake back. He then trips on Garfield's bed, getting the cake stuck on his head. Garfield follows Jon off-screen and throws Jon away, returning from off-screen with his belly bigger and a satisfied smile.
In the third scenario, Garfield prepares to enjoy a birthday cake. He is less than thrilled to see Nermal jumping out of the cake. After shaking a pair of maracas, Nermal sees that Garfield is not happy and lowers into the cake while holding out a candle. Garfield attempts to blow it out, but is incensed to see Nermal running off.
In the fourth scenario, a desperately hungry Garfield finds the refrigerator empty and immediately devours a cake Jon is holding as well as Jon's clothes. After realizing that he ate Jon's clothes as well as the cake, Garfield gags in disgust.
In the fifth and final scenario, Garfield and Odie chase Jon while he is carrying a cake. Jon immediately drops the cake in shock when he sees a mouse. After Garfield catches the cake, the mouse trips him and catches the cake.
