David Benoit (born August 18, 1953) is an American pianist, composer, and producer. He has handled the musical score for many of the later Peanuts specials, released the memorial album Here's to You, Charlie Brown: 50 Great Years! and performed notable Vince Guaraldi covers such as "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" and "Linus and Lucy". More recently, he contributed to the score for The Peanuts Movie, which was composed by Christophe Beck.
