Cinderella Cat is the third segment from the second episode of the third season of Garfield and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Garfield gets his own fairy godfather who grants him wishes, albeit with a catch.
Plot[]
Garfield is walking down the street past "Luigi's Lasagna" stand, which Luigi closes to keep the cat from eating any of his lasagna. Garfield goes down to the park where an ice cream vendor is giving out free ice cream to all the kids, making sure each kid gets only one. Garfield puts on different wigs and hats to disguise himself and gets many free ice cream bars. Being done with the meal, he finds shortly afterwards a copy of the "Cinderella" book and wonders what it would be like to have a fairy godmother. He imagines such one, who generates him lasagna using a magic wand. After a moment, Garfield pushes the imagination away and states, that his third wish would be to have more wishes and so on.
A magical cat dressed like a 1920s/1930s gang leader named Herbert appears as Garfield's fairy godfather and declares that he will grant him three wishes. The first wish Garfield makes is for lasagna, which Herbert grants by magically taking lasagna from Luigi's cart. Luigi comes by and takes the lasagnas back. Garfield's second wish is a sack of money to buy the lasagna with. Herbert then grants him a sack of money containing $43,511.37. Garfield takes it to the bank to convert it, only to be arrested, as Herbert had magically stolen the money from the said bank. Garfield is set free, as the bank decides not to press charges for returning the money.
Herbert awaits Garfield's final wish and Garfield decides to use it to wish for Herbert's wife Abigail to appear and take him home. Abigail does as Garfield wishes, taking her husband in a rather unfriendly way. With Herbert gone, Garfield returns the book to its rightful owner and is rewarded with a tray of lasagna.

- While using disguises to swipe multiple ice cream bars, Garfield also uses disguises based on Moe, Larry, and Curly of The Three Stooges.
- At least two of the headgear sets are used twice to obtain the ice cream bars.
- The cowboy disguise used by Garfield in the process is also shown (with different colors) in the following episodes: "The Cactus Saga", "Moo Cow Mutt", "The Life and Times of the Lasagna Kid", and "The Guy of Her Dreams".
- Herbert appears to be based on Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather.
- Both Herbert and Garfield reference the famous line "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
- Herbert jokes about being Michael Jackson while performing the moonwalk.
