Charlie Downs (also known as Chuck Downs) (March 22, 1927 - July 21, 2008) was an American animator. He started his career with Ward Kimball at Disney, working on films such as Peter Pan and 101 Dalmatians, as well as Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. He later became an animator for The Mr. Magoo Show, The Alvin Show, and The Beany and Cecil Show. He was also active with Jay Ward, Depatie-Freleng, and Hanna-Barbera.

In the late 20th century, Downs worked on movies such as Coonskin, Heavy Metal, The Looney Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie, Heidi's Song, The Black Cauldron, and Christmas in Tattertown. Some of his later television credentials include G.I. Joe, The Transformers, The Jetsons, Inhumanoids, My Little Pony 'n Friends, Jem, Muppet Babies, and Tiny Toon Adventures.
