Carlton Earl "Carl" Anderson (February 27, 1945 - February 23, 2004) was an American singer and actor, best known for his role as Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Anderson had nine albums released from 1982 to 1997, most of which were distributed by either Epic or GRP. His 1986 single "Friends and Lovers", a duet with Gloria Loring, reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. He made guest appearances with acts such as The Rippingtons, Weather Report and jazz singer Nancy Wilson.

Anderson portrayed Moro in The Black Pearl and Reverend Samuel in The Color Purple. He made guest appearances in Starsky and Hutch, The Rockford Files, The Incredible Hulk, Family, Hill Street Blues, Hotel, Magnum, P.I., Cop Rock and Another World.
