Overview

Can't Sleep! (FRFlag Insomnies !) is the second episode of Garfield Originals.

Synopsis[]

A variety of scenarios is showing Garfield's trouble with sleeping.

Plot[]

In the first scenario, Garfield is trying to sleep with his teddy bear Pooky during a stormy night. The lightning outside the house wakes him up. Garfield decides to cover the window with a curtain. When he is about to resume his slumber, the curtain rolls up after turning off the light and rolls up above Garfield's arms reach. The orange tabby elects to climb a nearby bookshelf and reach the curtain while standing atop of it. Garfield jumps and grabs the curtain strap only to wind up rolled above the window.

The second scenario depicts a mouse approaching Garfield while sleeping. Having checked that the cat remains under the Rapid Eye Movement phase, the mouse brings loudspeakers and plays an electric guitar in front of Garfield, immediately waking him up with rock and roll music. Infuriated Garfield rises in front of the mouse with sharp teeth and claws prepared to attack, but the mouse uses to guitar to make a lullaby to make Garfield go back to sleep. The mouse then plays again, both waking Garfield up and breaking the camera.

In the third scenario, Garfield is sleeping with alarm clock and waking up with a telephone. And Garfield getting out of bed to stop sleeping and walks to telephone, Garfield listens to the receiver but no one answers. While puts the receiver to the telephone, Garfield is going back to sleep and waking up again with a telephone before walks to telephone again and listens to the receiver and Garfield must go back to sleep and once again, waking up with a telephone and rises in sharp teeth and claws to break up the telephone, and throws the telephone Garfield goes back to sleep and tries to sleep but the alarm clock starting to ring.

The fourth scenario depicts Garfield approaching to take a snooze with an alarm clock. The alarm clock ringing and waking up to Garfield's sleeping and tries to break up the clock, but Garfield is going back to sleep. Odie takes the clock and brings it back to Garfield, waking him up. Garfield repeatly throws the alarm clock but Odie brings it back until Grafield throws it in Odie's mouth.

In the final scenario, Garfield is sleeping with a bed and his blanket but the spider sees Garfield goes to sleep and tickles his nose. Garfield grabs the spider and slingshots it away. Many spiders come and wraps Garfield in the web. The spider tickles Garfield's nose on final time.
