Calloway was a minor character appearing in the fifteenth issue of the Garfield KaBOOM! comic book series.
Physical appearance[]
An average-looking short hair male cat with pink nose, brown fur and lighter tone on ears and cheeks. His ears have pointier shape than most Garfield characters.
Personality[]
He is portrayed as a cat who is scared of everything except some things such as Garfield himself, of whom he looks up to. He believes himself to not be as clever as Garfield, telling Garfield not to waste his time on him.
Role[]
Garfield #15[]
At one point, Garfield is chased by Bruno after he tricked Bruno into going to a ice-cream truck with meat-flavored ice cream, which in reality was the truck of a animal catcher working for the pound. Garfield hides in a trash can and tells a nearby Calloway to not tell Bruno where he is hiding. After being reassured by Garfield that he is just as brave and clever as himself, Calloway tells Bruno, whom is searching for Garfield, to look anywhere but around the corner. After Bruno tells Calloway that he is too smart to be tricked by him, Bruno rushes around the corner to see the animal catcher, who let Bruno go after a unknown period of time in a cage but was told he would catch him if he caused anymore trouble, and gets captured. Congratulating Calloway, Garfield is relieved to be alive. So far, this is Calloway's only appearance.
