Robort "Bob" Givens (March 2, 1918 – December 14, 2017) was an American animator, character designer, and layout artist.
Givens started his career with Walt Disney Studios, most notably working on the Donald Duck cartoons as well Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He then moved on to Warner Bros. Cartoons, whom he would work for on and off up to its ultimate closure in 1969. He mostly worked in the units of Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, and Robert McKimson. He was the first to officially design what would become Bugs Bunny.
Givens also worked for Rudolph Ising (during World War II), UPA, Hanna-Barbera, Jack Kinney, DePatie-Freleng, Filmation, Warner Bros. Animation, and Film Roman.
