Big Louie is a character in the Garfield and Friends episode, "Jailbird Jon". He is also mentioned in "The Guy of Her Dreams" in Penelope Pussycat's fantasy about Garfield the private detective.
Physical Appearance[]
A rather bulky Caucasian male human with a pear-shaped head and only a few hair tufts protruding from his cranium. He is usually seen dressed in striped prison robes apart from the scene in "Jailbird Jon", when he managed to steal Jon's outfit.
Personality[]
Louie is an exemplar of Cesare Lombroso's theory about the concept of criminal atavism - he's one of those people, who cannot be taught off crime by sentence in prison. Despite his convict status, he does attempt to escape the place of imprisonment at other's expenses.
As it can be expected from a criminal, Louie is also afraid of the judicature - in "The Guy of Her Dreams", Penelope mentions that Louie did threaten to rub Garfield out if he stays on the case.
