The Alien Traveler (voiced by Wally Wingert) was an extraterrestrial who had to visit Earth to go grocery shopping. Garfield wound up in his vehicle and activated it by accident, which brought him away from Earth. The alien managed to bring both of them back by using a remote homing device.
He has a nagging wife named Miriam.
