Abby Westminister is an important citizen in London. She showed great interest in Carlyle castle, but was also revealed to be a spy and frequently visited the property to see what Dargis was up to. She passed on information to the Solicitors about Prince. During her spywork, Dargis fell in love with her up until she revealed her true motives to the solicitors. In the novel, Dargis was unaware that she was a spy until she arrived with the police to arrest him.
