Among its properties are Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, Numb Chucks, Arthur and Peg + Cat. Its subsidiary, Brown Bag Films, has produced series such as Octonauts, Doc McStuffins, Bing and Henry Hugglemonster. It has collaborated with Scholastic and Netflix to produce The Magic Schoolbus Rides Again.

On May 25, 2016, 9 Story announced that it had acquired Garfield and Friends in a deal also including "twelve specials and two direct to video titles", with plans to remaster the content for High-definition. According to Jim Davis, "This is the first time we’ve awarded the rights to a single distribution partner who will handle all markets and all platforms."[1] The 9 Story remasters are distributed by PBS Distribution.

On October 10, 2023, 9 Story launched a YouTube hub channel for several children's programming. Classic series include Garfield and Friends, Barney & Friends, Angelina Ballerina, and Guess How Much I Love You. New series are Let's Game, Challenge Dan, and Andy and the Band. FAST channels, the first of which will be made in partnership with Cineverse, are slated for launch in 2024.[2]
