I see I'm being falsely accused again. It's quite unfortunate. I really don't understand why this keeps happening, but I'd like to make clear that I've never spoken to SxmpleyLonely and have no idea who they are. Any allegations of "manipulation" by this user are, therefore, completely false.
I have no idea what's going on here, but this post is completely false. I've never been involved in any "secret hacking group" and I'm quite certain that Cooljoe01 hasn't either. The other accusations are equally absurd. As for the screenshot provided as "evidence" here, it has clearly been fabricated somehow. I have no Discord account named LS032 and have never talked to anyone named Kutter59, and even besides that the messages shown don't match my writing style at all.
Also, as Bonzo Wag pointed out, this post is much closer to being libel than the various comments TeeJay87 has been assigning that term to lately (such as a user calling him "pretty rude").
I think it’s only fair that I get a chance to respond to this.
First and foremost, the two screenshots attached above (the only actual evidence TeeJay87 provides against me) are from November and December 2021 - well over a year ago. Yes, perhaps I acted too harshly then and indeed I regret saying some of what I did. But I think most reasonable people would agree that this alone is not a reason for demotion.
I should also add that according to TeeJay87’s own definition of the term, posting those screenshots is doxxing, which is punishable by an infinite block according to the Wiki Rules. Since that definition apparently no longer applies, should this obvious threat by TeeJay87 from around the same time not also be admissible as evidence for why he lacks the temperament to be an administrator?
(TH762 is Kbinitald, who no doubt will be showing up shortly to support TeeJay87’s position.)
As for the rest of the post, once you strip away the incoherent and irrelevant personal attacks (such as claiming that not wishing Low Spark of Lyman a happy birthday - a simple oversight given my very busy personal life - is an “extremely rude” insult), the main thing I am accused of is is “obstructing” TeeJay87’s request for re-promotion as an administrator. This is either a complete misunderstanding by TeeJay87 or a willful misrepresentation of events. I suspect the latter.
In June 2022 I provided clear reasons for why I did not feel comfortable re-promoting TeeJay87. Both Low Spark of Lyman and former administrator Cooljoe01 agreed with those reasons at the time. When TeeJay87 then made another request in November 2022, I hoped to reach a consensus with Low Spark of Lyman before responding. However, this has not happened yet, in part due to my busy personal life leaving me less time to spend on the wiki, and in part due to Low Spark of Lyman’s reluctance to discuss the matter when I brought it up.
Kbinitald’s request is a different, but similar, issue. Since the end of June 2022 I have tried multiple times to discuss that subject with Low Spark of Lyman, but each time he was not ready to make a decision, so we agreed that the request was not urgent and could wait to be addressed. During our most recent conversation on December 18, we tentatively agreed to support this request but still no final decision was made. During this same conversation, when I approached the subject of TeeJay87’s request, Low Spark of Lyman did not feel ready to respond to it.
As you can see, at no time have I intended to “obstruct” the handling of either request.
For obvious reasons, I do not believe that I should be demoted.
After contacting Fandom Staff, it seems that this situation has been misrepresented by TeeJay87. According to Kimberton, Fandom never asked TeeJay87 to create this poll and they have no intention of intervening in the matter. A screenshot of the full reply I received is below.
I was also advised to lock this poll/thread. Since TeeJay87 requested administrator rights on the normal promotion request page earlier this month, anyone who wants to comment further on his request can do so there.
My position from December 7th has not changed. All of the concerns I had then still apply.
