Today's Monday Juyl 28th, and Garfield hates Monday.
There's an ad with both Garfield and his creator, Jim Davis in the early or mid-2000's that does with The National Commission on Writing, which part of the College Board. Garfield and Jim Davis have been in two American Express commercials together in the 1980's. This one is more educational and non-profit saying that "writing is essential" that every comic strips, video games, TV shows, movies and hit records begin with a writer(s). Garfield is pretty much voiced by Jon Barnard in this ad. Jon Barnard did the voice of Garfield in video games and commercials after Lorenzo Music eventually passed away on August 4, 2001 from bone and lung cancer.

Is there any Jim Davis-related media in the January 1, 1976 issue of The Pendleton Times?
He (Jim Davis) has replacements and even artists that are trained to know exactly how to draw the Garfield art style. I really doubt Garfield will end he's probably not going to end anytime soon and even in the future will be a sensation someday Garfield will be at the same rank as Hello Kitty.
I wanted to tell you all that I am writing and drawing homemade Garfield comic strips!
